Spiral steel pipe is made of strip steel coil as raw material, regular temperature extrusion molding, automatic double wire double-sided submerged arc welding process welded spiral seam steel pipe. Spiral steel pipe will be fed into the welded pipe unit, through the multi-channel roll rolling, the strip steel is gradually rolled up to form a round billet with an open gap, adjust the amount of extrusion rollers under pressure, so that the weld gap is controlled at 1~3mm, and make the weld ends flush.
Spiral steel pipe is characterized by high strength, high rigidity, light weight, easy to install and so on. It is widely used in the transmission of fluids such as oil, natural gas, water, gas, steam, etc. as well as in the fields of electric power, construction, transportation and so on. In addition, spiral steel pipe can also be used for pipelines conveying common solid materials, such as coal, ore and so on.
Spiral steel pipe is available in various specifications and can be produced in diameters of 219~4020mm and wall thicknesses of 4~25mm. Meanwhile, the production standards of spiral steel pipe include GB/T9711, GB/T3091, etc., in which GB/T9711 standard is mainly used in oil and gas pipeline and more strict municipal projects, such as water supply pipeline, heat pipeline, etc.; while SY/T5037 standard is mainly used in water supply and drainage pipeline, sewage pipeline, piling works, structural pillars and other projects.
