Stainless steel refers to the air, steam, water and other weak corrosion medium and acid, alkali, salt and other chemical corrosive medium corrosion of steel, also known as stainless acid-resistant steel.
439 stainless steel is on the basis of ordinary ferritic materials to reduce the content of carbon, at the same time adding Ti and other stabilizing elements, so that the steel resistance to intergranular corrosion, formability and weldability have been improved. Compared with 304 steel, although the elongation is lower (about 30%), the strength and corrosion resistance are comparable, and the corrosion resistance is better than 200 series materials.
