Stainless steel refers to the air, steam, water and other weak corrosion medium and acid, alkali, salt and other chemical corrosive medium corrosion of steel, also known as stainless acid-resistant steel.
420J2 stainless steel is Martensioned stainless steel for use after quenching and tempering. It has higher strength, hardness and hardenability, but its corrosion resistance and thermal stability below 700℃ is low. Cold working performance and welding performance is not good, after welding should be immediately heat treatment to prevent cracking. It has good machining performance in annealed state.
