301 2B Stainless Cold Rolled Coils
Product Description
Commonly used in the steel industry, different from hot-rolled coils. It refers to the steel strip that is directly rolled into a certain thickness with a roll at room temperature and rolled into a full coil with a winder. Compared with hot-rolled coils, cold-rolled coils have a brighter surface and a higher finish, but produce more internal stress, and are often annealed after cold-rolling.
301 2B Stainless Cold Rolled Coils is a kind of metastable austenitic stainless steel, under the condition of full solid solution, with complete austenitic structure. 301 is mainly used in cold working state for equipment parts that bear high loads and want to reduce equipment weight and not rust. In addition, this steel is easy to produce work hardening when impacted by external force, which can absorb more impact energy and provide more reliable safety guarantee for equipment and personnel. 301 is prone to work hardening during deformation, and is used in places requiring high strength.
