Product Description
317L 2B Stainless Cold Rolled Coils: Cold Rolled Commonly used in the steel industry, different from hot-rolled coils. It refers to the steel strip that is directly rolled into a certain thickness with a roll at room temperature and rolled into a full coil with a winder. Compared with hot-rolled coils, cold-rolled coils have a brighter surface and a higher finish, but produce more internal stress, and are often annealed after cold-rolling.
317L stainless steel is a molybdenum based austenitic stainless steel. It is more resistant to chemical corrosion than conventional chrome-nickel austenitic stainless steel such as 304 alloy. In addition, compared with conventional stainless steel, 317L alloy has higher ductility, stress corrosion resistance, compressive strength and high temperature resistance. It is low carbon grade or L grade. This grade has resistance to sensitization during welding and heat treatment. Compared with 316L, 317L steel has good seawater resistance and SCC resistance. It is used in Chemical vessels, chemical products Reactor and other chemical equipment requiring high corrosion resistance.
