254SMO NO.1 Stainless Hot Rolled Coils
Product Description
Products used in construction, machinery and other industries. Hot-rolled coils use continuous casting slabs or blooming slabs as raw materials. They are heated in a walking heating furnace, descaled by high-pressure water, and then enter the roughing mill. The rough rolling material enters the finishing mill after cutting the head and tail, and implements computer-controlled rolling. After the final rolling, it undergoes laminar cooling (computer-controlled cooling rate) and coiling machine to become a straight hair coil.
254SMO NO.1 Stainless Hot Rolled Coils is an austenitic stainless steel. Because of its high molybdenum content, it has very high point corrosion resistance and crevice corrosion resistance. This grade of stainless steel has been developed for use in halide containing environments such as seawater. 254SMO also has good resistance to uniform corrosion. 254SMO stainless steel is a kind of special stainless steel, the first in the chemical composition and ordinary stainless steel is different, is a high nickel, high chromium, high molybdenum of a high alloy rust. Secondly, in the performance of high temperature resistance or corrosion resistance, with more excellent high temperature resistance or corrosion resistance.
