254SMO 2B Stainless Cold Rolled Coils: cold rolled commonly used in the steel industry, different from hot-rolled coils. It refers to the steel strip that is directly rolled into a certain thickness with a roll at room temperature and rolled into a full coil with a winder. Compared with hot-rolled coils, cold-rolled coils have a brighter surface and a higher finish, but produce more internal stress, and are often annealed after cold-rolling.
254SMO is an austenitic stainless steel. Because of its high molybdenum content, it has very high point corrosion resistance and crevice corrosion resistance. This grade of stainless steel has been developed for use in halide containing environments such as seawater. 254SMO also has good resistance to uniform corrosion. Super stainless steel is a kind of special stainless steel, the first in the chemical composition and ordinary stainless steel is different, is a high nickel, high chromium, high molybdenum of a high alloy rust. Secondly, in the performance of high temperature resistance or corrosion resistance, with more excellent high temperature resistance or corrosion resistance, 304 stainless steel can not be replaced.
