439 Stainless steel Hexagonal steel is based on the ordinary ferrite material (430) to reduce the content of C, while adding Ti and other stabilizing elements, so that the steel resistance to intergranular corrosion, formability and weldability are improved. Compared with 304 steel, although the elongation rate is low (about 30%), but the strength, corrosion resistance is equivalent, and corrosion resistance is better than 200 series materials.
