Pb99.970 lead plate refers to a plate rolled with metal lead. With strong corrosion resistance, acid and alkali resistance performance, in acid-resistant environment construction, medical radiation protection, X-ray, CT room radiation protection, aggravation, sound insulation and many other aspects, is also a relatively cheap radiation protection material.
It is mainly used in the manufacture of lead batteries, lead plate and lead pipe as lining protection equipment in the acid industry and metallurgical industry, lead as cable wrapping and fuse in the electrical industry. Lead alloys containing tin and antimony are used for printing movable type, lead-tin alloys are used for making fusing lead electrodes, lead plates and lead-plated steel plates are used in the construction industry. Lead has good absorption of X-rays and gamma rays and is widely used as a protective material for X-ray machines and atomic energy devices. Due to lead toxicity and economic reasons, lead has been or will be replaced by other materials in some fields.
