Classification and Specifications

The specification range of unequal angle steel is wide and can be customized according to specific needs.

Angle steel has good weldability, plastic deformation performance, and certain mechanical strength, so it is widely used in various building structures and engineering structures. Its main uses include:

The support and connection of heavy structures such as beams, bridges, transmission towers, lifting and transportation machinery.

Production Process

The raw material for producing angle steel is low-carbon square steel billets, which are produced through processes such as hot rolling, normalizing, or delivery in hot rolling state. Hot dip galvanized angle steel has higher thickness and performance, and its process includes steps such as acid pickling, water washing, immersion coating agent, drying preheating, hanging plating, cooling, passivation, cleaning, polishing, etc. The thickness of the galvanized layer is uniform, generally between 30-50um.

Appearance Quality and Standards

The surface quality of angle steel usually requires no harmful defects such as layering, scarring, and cracks, and specifies the allowable deviation range of the geometric shape of the angle steel, including curvature, edge width, edge thickness, top angle, and theoretical weight. The chemical composition of angle steel belongs to the rolled steel series for general structural purposes, and the main verification indicators are C, Mn, P, and S. The specific content varies depending on the grade.
